Terms of Service

Outlier (the mobile app and outlieradhd.com) is operated by Helpful Humans Studio LLC (“we,” “us,” “Helpful Humans Studio”), based in New Jersey, USA. These Terms of Service govern your use of Outlier. By creating an account or using Outlier, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.

Outlier is a self-help, organizational, and reflective companion tool built with ADHD in mind. It is not a medical device, and it does not provide medical, psychiatric, or therapeutic advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Outlier’s AI coach can be wrong, and its suggestions are not a substitute for care from a qualified professional. If you’re in crisis or need urgent help, please contact a medical professional or local emergency services.

You’re responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be at least 13 years old to use Outlier. You can delete your account at any time from Settings.

Please don’t use Outlier to:

• Violate any law or the rights of others.
• Harass, abuse, or harm another user, including through the friend/social features.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to Outlier’s systems.
• Use the app to generate or share content that is illegal, hateful, or harmful.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

You own the content you create in Outlier (tasks, journal entries, mood logs, and everything else). We only use it to provide the app’s features to you, as described in our Privacy Policy. Deleting your account deletes this content, as described there.

Outlier uses third-party AI models to power features like the AI coach, weekly summaries, and plan generation. AI-generated content may occasionally be inaccurate or not fit your situation — use your own judgment, especially for anything important.

Outlier is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don’t guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific needs.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Outlier and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll update the “last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
